I recently mentioned to someone that I like to actively follow the music of independent singer-songwriters that aren't widely known - mostly from Southern California. Since I do a bit of
songwriting myself, I've had the opportunity to meet most of the people I listen to - at writers' association meetings, open-mic-nights, and such. Those that I haven't met in person, I've corresponded with
by email. I used to have a bunch of links to songfiles on this page, but some of them got broken over time and they're a pain to keep up, so I put up a little "station" page on Mp3.Com with as many of
